Von Akamai wurde unter dem Namen “Open Video Player” eine Initiative lanciert, mit unter anderem namhaften Partnern wie Adobe und Microsoft. Ziel ist es, gewisse “Best Practices” für die Entwicklung von Flash- und Silverlight Video Player zu definieren.

Die Gerüchte waren alle ja schon mal da, nun auf’s neue. Laut GearLive soll das nächste iPhone Firmware-Update FlashLite 3.0 beinhalten. Apple hat sich mit der Nichtintegration von FlashLite das leben schwer gemacht, oder zumindest das der Anderen. So musste YouTube zB einen grossen Teil seiner Movies in H.264 umkonvertieren und allen Anderen OnlineVideo Sites [...]
